GE15: Kota Kemuning state rep to contest for Klang parliamentary seat

SHAH ALAM, Oct 27 — Kota Kemuning state assemblyman V Ganabatirau, who is also the state executive councillor for socio-economic development, will be contesting in the 15th general election for the Klang parliamentary seat.

The announcement was made during a fundraising dinner last night by DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke, who revealed that the party will contest four out of 22 federal seats in Selangor in the upcoming polls.

The candidates and the seats are as follows:

  • Ganabatirau for Klang, replacing Charles Santiago
  • Selangor DAP chairman Gobind Singh Deo for Damansara, replacing Tony Pua
  • Former Federal minister Yeo Bee Yin for Puchong, replacing Gobind
  • Syahredzan Johan for Bangi, replacing Ong Kian Ming
