GE15: Kuala Langat candidate tells young voters the importance to vote in GE15

KUALA LANGAT, Nov 13 — Pakatan Harapan’s (Harapan) candidate for the Kuala Langat parliamentary seat Manivanan Gowin has taken the initiative to explain to young voters the importance of voting in the general election.

He said during his campaign trail, he always reminds young voters that their roles are important to help save the country.

“They carry a huge responsibility to bring glory back to this country. Malaysia belongs to all but the country is developed for future generations.

“In less than maybe 10 or 20 years, it’s their time to lead the country,” he said when met after the Ziarah Prihatin programme at Taman Seri Bayu and Kampung Tali Air, yesterday.

According to the latest statistics issued by the Selangor Election Office, eligible voters in the state stood at 3,677,848 this year compared to 2,415,074 in the previous general election.
