2016 My Selangor Story targets Chinese tourists

SHAH ALAM, AUG 9: My Selangor Story 2016 returns once again, and is focused on tourists from China. Tourism Selangor Corporate Communications Manager Nazri Tashriq Rahmat said a total of 12 tourists who are also bloggers from China’s biggest tourist portal, Lotour (lotour.com), attended the five days and four nights programme in Selangor.
He said that they will share their holiday experiences through Lotour and other social media platforms.
“This programme aims to promote Selangor, which is rich in tourism resources, and to increase knowledge on cultural diversities and activities of the country.
“This unique tourism campaign also aims to highlight the Tourism Selangor brand and all sponsors who generously assisted with the programme’s implementation,” he said in a media statement.
My Selangor Story 2016 was co-organised with My Horizon Media Sdn Bhd in collaboration with Lotour.

During the programme, the bloggers also had the opportunity to visit the 40th Bon Odori Festival in Shah Alam recently.
They also enjoyed visiting Sunway Lagoon Theme Park in Petaling Jaya, Turkish Target (Kuala Selangor), Goose Island (Kuala Selangor), Batu Caves (Gombak) and Sekinchan.
