Gunalan admits weakness in front but satisfied with draw

BY: NAZLI IBRAHIM
SHAH ALAM, AUG 17: The inability to attack by the Selangor team last night has brought its two-match winning streak to an end.
However, Selangor Assistant Coach K Gunalan is satisfied with the 1-1 draw between Selangor and Terengganu at Shah Alam Stadium yesterday night.
“At the start of the second half we were having trouble but after we equalised we can see our players’ renewed motivation, especially after the 80th minute,” he said at a press conference after the end of the match between Selangor and Terengganu.
Several attempts by Selangor should have produced goals, he said.
Touching on Selangor’s position in the Malaysian Super League, Gunalan said he aims for the team to take back third place from Kedah.

Meanwhile, Terengganu Assistant Coach Che Ku Marzuki Mohd Nor said his team was able to steal a point at Shah Alam Stadium as planned before the match.
“We are able to bring back a point just like we planned, although we were able to dominate the match,” he said.
