MB offers condolences over the passing of Haron Din

SHAH ALAM, SEP 16: Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali offered his condolences over the passing of PAS spiritual leader Datuk Dr Haron Din who passed away at Stanford Hospital, San Francisco this morning.
Mohamed Azmin offered his condolences and prayers on his Twitter account.
“Al Fatihah. Semoga Almarhum Ustaz Haron Din mendapat husnul khatimah dan rohnya ditempatkan di Syurga yang penuh dengan nikmat Allah SWT,” he wrote.
He also recalled meeting Dr Haron a day before he left to the United States at Al Umm Masjid, Bangi.

Mohamed Azmin said that the loss of Dr Haron, an Ustaz, would be felt by all Muslims in the country.
He said that the late Dr Haron was an ulama who contributed greatly to the development of Muslims and also helped in shaping a true Muslim psyche.
Dr Haron passed away at Stanford Hospital, San Francisco, US at 10:10 am Malaysian time.
His passing was confirmed by PAS Information Chief Nasrudin Hassan through his official Facebook account.
Haron, 76, was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit yesterday after undergoing heart treatment at the hospital.
Haron left for the US several days ago to get further treatment for his heart condition.
He also underwent a heart bypass at the same hospital on April 2, 2012.
Last March, he was admitted to the National Heart Institute after complaining of chest pains.
