Important mission: Globalising UNISEL students

By LIZAWATI MADFA
SHAH ALAM, OCT 19: A total of RM250,000 has been allocated to initiate the globalisation concept for students of University of Selangor (UNISEL).
Education, Human Capital Development, Science, Technology and Innovation Exco Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad said, it is an important incentive to raise the name of UNISEL in the international arena.
He also said that this concept gives students more exposure in their respective fields.
“Hopefully, each student selected for this program can take full advantage, especially in enhancing their personal development, acquiring knowledge and experiencing enrichment.
“Hopefully all of this also allow students to give back to the Selangor community,” he said to SelangorKini.
Since early 2016, UNISEL has had the chance to use the allocated funds for its students to participate in any program on an international level.
Nik Nazmi said that these also include educational visits, humanitarian programmes, practical training, industrial training and other programmes.
“Some students have gone overseas earlier and the most recent trips were to Indonesia and Thailand,” he said.
