KUALA LUMPUR, NOV 19 NOV: Although the Red Shirts are reported to be organising their own demonstration, several main areas near Merdeka Square are dominated by BERSIH 5 supporters.
During SelangorKini’s walkabout along Jalan Tun Perak, including Masjid Jamek, Jalan Raja Laut, Jalan Masjid India and Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman near Wisma Bandar, not a single Red Shirt was spotted, and the areas were filled with BERSIH 5 participants.
However, there are reports that a group of Red Shirts were headed towards Merdeka Square through Jalan Putra.
At the time of this report, the atmosphere at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman is getting festive with ceremahs and singing performances containing messages of peace.
Among them were the song Assaamualaikum popularised by Faizal Tahir and Standing In The Eyes Of The World by Ella that were presented by a group of acoustic musicians.
