MBSA engineer appointed MBoT board of director

SHAH ALAM, DEC 5: An experienced engineer of Shah Alam City Council (MBSA), Feroz Hanif Mohamad Ahmad was appointed as Board of Technologist Malaysia (MBoT), which has been incorporated for the first time.
He joined the MBSA in 1998 and represented all local authorities in Malaysia under the professional professional body of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI).
Feroz’s appointment is for a period of two years beginning February 25, 2016.
“I am proud, touched and thankful for this appointment.
“This is a duty and I am determined to play this role as best as possible so that all technicians and technical-based professionals will get some recognition at the highest level,” he said.
Feroz received his appointment letter at the MBoT launch ceremony, which was attended by the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Datuk Seri Madius Tangau at Tun Abdul Razak Hall, Bank Rakyat Convention Centre on November 17, 2016.
MBoT was incorporated to register and recognize Professional Technologists and Certified Technicians as consistent professions inline with the recommendations of Rancangan Malaysia Ke-10 (RMKe-10).
The incorporation is based on the collaboration and consensus between MOSTI and Ministry of Education, Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource, Ministry of Rural and Regional Development, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Works and various other ministries.
