Royal Exhibition on people-orientated Sultan of Selangor

SHAH ALAM, DEC 9: His Highness Tengku Laksamana Selangor, Tengku Sulaimam Shah inaugurated the Pameran Diraja DYMM Sultan Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah in conjunction with His Majesty’s 71st Birthday, at the SACC Mall.
His Highness was welcomed by Islamic Religious Affairs, Malay Customs & Heritage, Rural & Traditional Villages Development Exco Dato’ Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi and Berita Nasional Malaysia (BERNAMA) Chairman Datuk Seri Azman Ujang.
The gong was sounded three times to symbolise the opening of the exhibition which recognises Sultan Sharafuddin’s important role of guiding his citizens for 15 years.
Besides that, the exhibition also displayed the course of his life more closely to the public, thereby enhancing the spirit of love for the King and Sultan in society, in accordance with our Rukun Negara, Loyalty to King and Country.
The exhibition is organised by the State Government through Selangor Heritage and Malay Customs Corporation (PADAT), with cooperation from BERNAMA and SACC.
The exhibition is opened to the public from December 5 until 18, from 10 am to 10 pm.
Among items on display are pictures of Sultan Sharafuddin with the rakyat, a genealogy chart on the Selangor monarchical system, royal regalia and pictures of His Royal Highness Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
