Encouraging response for MBSA Flexi Parking

SHAH ALAM, APR 11: As of last March, 6,195 people were recorded to have used the Flexi Parking system in the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) administrative area.
Its Corporate Communication and Public Relations Head, Shahrin Ahmad says the system fully maximise the use of smartphones to facilitate users and authorities improve their service quality.
He said, the system is also consistent with State Government’s objective to turn Selangor into a Smart State by 2025.
“The Flexi Parking System is MBSA’s initiative to improve its carpark management to be more efficient and systematic as well as simplify payment process without having to display any coupon or monthly pass.

“It is also introduced to reduce problems and complaints on difficulty to get coupons, wrongly scratching the coupons and piles of coupon books for those who regularly visit areas under MBSA,” he said to SelangorKini.
Flexi Parking was first introduced early this year and the bilingual application can be downloaded for free from Android Pay Store or Apple Apps Store.
Shahrin said, public can purchase credit online through their smartphones with Internet banking.
“Users will also be notified 10 minutes before their parking period expire,” he said.
