‘Jelajah Maju Bersama’ Programme to Kuala Selangor District Begins

KUALA SELANGOR – Selangor Menteri Besar, Amirudin Shari. embarks on the ‘Jelajah Maju Bersama’ programme to the district of Kuala Selangor today in order to reach out to the people and to have a closer look at the local issues.

Amirudin arrived at Masjid Jamek Sultan Ibrahim’s compound as early as 6 am to perform the morning prayers.

After the mosque, he moved to Miah Corner Restaurant in Taman Bendahara to enjoy the breakfast provided while mingling with the locals.

Restaurant guests who were present took the chance to shake hands and to take pictures with Amirudin.

Amirudin, who is also the Sungai Tua State Assemblyman, is scheduled to attend a morning rally with civil servants and hear a briefing on the Kuala Selangor district report today.

At 10 am, Amirduin was at Raja Lumu Hall which is the Kuala Selangor District Religious Office for a town-hall session before taking off to Jamiul Muhammadiah Mosque in Kampung Kuantan to perform Friday prayers.

The Kuala Selangor district is the last location of the ‘Jelajah Maju Bersama’ programme before welcoming the arrival of Ramadan, early next May.

The tour today will also be accompanied by the State Government EXCO at selected locations before assembling and visiting Selangor Fruit Valley in Bestari Jaya.
