MB Proud of Yayasan Selangor Sponsorship Students

SHAH ALAM – Selangor Menteri Besar, Amirudin Shari is pleased with the outstanding achievement of the Selangor Yayasan-sponsored students, especially students from Maahad Tahfiz Integrasi Selangor (MITS) and Sekolah Agama Agama Integrasi (SRAI).

He said that through the proper learning syllabus, students were able to compete with other academic students, with the advantage of having memorized 30 juzuk al-Quran.

“Today we find that among the excellent students are from MITS, this shows that these tahfiz students, if given proper education and syllabus, they can take education just as good as other students. Most of them are reciting 30 constituencies of the Quran,” said Amirudin.

“In addition to excellence of scoring 10 and 11A’s, I believe that if maahad tahfiz can combine all elements of physical and academic education, it is also able to generate excellence among its students,” he added.

He was speaking to the media after completing the Selangor Foundation Education Excellence Award 2018 at the Shah Alam Club on 14 July.

At the event, 215 students were awarded excellence in the Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah Ujian, Penilaian Sisak 3 dan Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia.

The Best Coordinator of the Best Coordination Master Plan for the Yayasan Pendidikan Khas was awarded to Nur Khasanah Ulfah Mohamad Anuar from MITS Klang, while the Primary High School Student High Prize Supervisor (HIPERS) Award was awarded to Norzirah Ismail from Sekolah Kebangsaan Sungai Merab Luar.

Meanwhile, Alina Deraman from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bandar Tasik Puteri was chosen as the Best Teacher of the Best High School HIPERS Teacher Award.

SRAI Section 19, Shah Alam was named the Best School HIPERS Primary School while SMK Bandar Tasik Puteri was selected as the Best School Award for the Secondary School HIPERS Programme.

While the Best School Award for the Yayasan Education Special Education Award was awarded to Bestari Secondary School, Subang Jaya.
