MBSA Closes Part of Jalan Dataran Kemerdekaan

SHAH ALAM – The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) will close part of the Jalan Persiaran Bandaraya (Dataran Kemerdekaan) to launch MBSA’s  3W Carnival (Wellness, Welfare, And Women) programme, in conjunction with Shah Alam without Vehicles Day on Sunday.

MBSA Head of Corporate and Public Relations Shahrin Ahmad said the road would be closed from tomorrow (1 August), from 6 pm to Monday, (5 August) at 5 pm.

He said the programme would commence at the Dataran Kemerdekaan with the aim to promote a healthy lifestyle among the people of Shah Alam.

“The Council is urging the public not to use the roads mentioned at the time to avoid traffic congestion and to always follow the instructions,” he said.

“MBSA is also urging road users to cooperate and use alternative roads to get to their destination.”
