MBI Committed in Carrying out CSR Projects

AMPANG – The Menteri Besar Selangor Incorporated (MBI) continues to carry out its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities in a variety of aspects.

Most recently, a total of RM 50,000 was donated by MBI CSR arm to the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) for the Ampang Jaya Night Run 2019 run.

Its CSR chief Mohd Jaafarudin Md Ali said the second collaboration was seen as a catalyst for excellence in sports and community development.

“This is an MBI CSR function that is not only focused on people with disabilities or people with disabilities but also in other fields,” said Mohd Jaafarudin.

“We see that sports and welfare are community-based, so we are keen to be with MPAJ,” he said when met at the Ampang Jaya Night Run 2019 press conference at MPAJ Tower, here.

At the same time, Mohd Jaafarudin said he would go to Syria later this year to deliver winter kits to the victims.

“This is to help Syrians face the winter beginning next January, so MBI is looking for some non-governmental organizations or organizations to help us,” he said.

For the record, a total of RM 49.7 million was allocated this year to the CSR MBI which prioritized 10 core programmes including education, mosques and surau, basic needs and living expenses, festivals and religious as well as sports development and excellence.
