SHAH ALAM – University of Selangor (UNISEL) recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Southeast Asia’s first account software company, Estream Software Sdn Bhd (Estream) to forge a partnership in education in the field of accounting at the institution of higher learning (HEIs).
The MoU was signed by the President and Vice-Chancellor of UNISEL, Prof Dato’ Dr Mohammad Redzuan Othman and the Director of Estream Affairs, Hoe Yen Law, witnessed by the Estream Education Advisor, Yee Siew Yen, at the Senate Meeting Room, UNISEL Shah Alam, here.
UNISEL Director of Corporate Communications, Hasril Abu Hassan said Estream would provide the latest software to be used by the undergraduate accounting students of the HEIs.
“It is for the Accounting Information Systems course at UNISEL, while the HEIs will involve lecturers and students in the activities conference organized by Estream,” he said.
“This understanding agreement will also cover aspects of research, professional development and curriculum,” he noted.
