SHAH ALAM, April 3 — Hawkers and petty traders in Selangor will be able to apply online for their one-off RM500 incentive at www.selangorprihatin.com, beginning April 8.
The initiative was recently announced under the second phase of the Selangor stimulus package, Selangor Cares 2.0.
The Selangor Economic Planning Unit, in a statement today, said only traders and hawkers with valid licenses or permits, approved by the Selangor local authorities (PBTs) before March 20, are eligible to apply.
“Each applicant can only apply once even if they have more than one license or permit from different local authorities.
“Submitted documents must be accurate, true and authentic. The state government and the PBTs have the right to revoke any license or permit if found to be in violation of the terms and conditions of the application,” the statement said today.
The application closes on May 7.
Applicants are also advised to ensure that the bank account information is the same in the license or permit holder information.
Any conflicting or inaccurate information would disrupt the process in disbursing the incentive.
