SHAH ALAM, April 20 — Selangor has registered three confirmed Covid-19 cases as of noon yesterday as the state saw a slight increase in daily cases.

On Saturday, the state recorded two new cases, nine on Friday and 13 on Thursday.

According to the infographic shared by the Selangor Task Force for Covid-19 (STFC) on Twitter yesterday, the total tally in the state is now at 1,343 out of the total 5,389 cases recorded nationwide.

“Although there is a slight increase, it is good since the daily rise remains a single digit. Please observe the MCO (movement control order), it is not over and we have yet to win the battle,” the task force said.

Yesterday, Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said 95 patients have fully recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of recoveries to 3,197 or 59.3 per cent of the total cases.

The number of new positive Covid-19 cases nationwide stood at 84, and there are 2,103 total active cases.
