HULU KELANG, May 20 — The Selangor state representatives are urged to heed the Selangor Ruler’s decree that had called for stability in the state administration and against any political uncertainty.
Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah had in his royal address during the opening of state legislative assembly sitting in March cautioned against political turmoil within the state government.
“Everyone has to abide by and understand the decree made by His Majesty, who wishes to see a stable state administration that has no disruption,” he said when met at the Selangor Menteri Besar Inc (MBI) Hari Raya Aidilfitri contribution handover ceremony at the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) multipurpose hall in AU2, here today.
Amirudin was responding to the possible attempt of a change in the state government as seen in Perak, Kedah, Johor, and Melaka.
However, Amirudin said he believes that the Pakatan Harapan (PH) state representatives in Selangor will continue to support the state administration based on the mandate given by the people in the last 14th general election.
He said is confident with their stance but had also reminded that they should continue on with their responsibilities and should not betray the state government.
