Hulu Langat, Sepang remain as Covid-19 red zones

SHAH ALAM, June 4 — Hulu Langat and Sepang remain a red zone in Selangor.

According to the infographic shared by the Selangor Task Force for Covid-19 (STFC) on Twitter yesterday, the two districts recorded 115 and 66 active Covid-19 cases respectively.

While Klang and Kuala Selangor saw a decline in active cases, both remain a yellow zone.

As of noon yesterday, Selangor has registered two new cases which brings the total figure in the state to 1,928.

This makes it the third consecutive day the state saw a drop in new daily cases.

“The daily cases registered yesterday shows a downtrend compared to Tuesday.

“To the people of Selangor, please continue to observe the new normal and business premises are advised to adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOP),” the task force said.

A total of 93 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in Malaysia, bringing the cumulative total to 7,970.

No Covid-19 fatalities have been reported in Malaysia for 12 consecutive days, keeping the death toll at 115.
