Four senior police officers on transfer, effective Oct 12

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 11 — The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) yesterday announced the transfer of four senior officers, effective Oct 12.

PDRM Corporate Communications head Datuk Asmawati Ahmad in a statement said the transfer exercise involved Bukit Aman Internal Security and Public Order (KDNKA) Marine Police (general policing/strategic/investigation) deputy commander Assistant Commissioner Zulkafli Sariaat.

Zulkafli has been appointed as Bukit Aman Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Secretariat (Research and Development) Organisation Management Modernisation, with the rank of acting Senior Assistant Commissioner.

General Operations Force (GOF) Central Brigade 4th Battalion Central Brigade Commanding Officer Supt Zulafendy Hassan will replace Zukafli, with the rank of acting Assistant Commissioner.

Police escort to Johor Permaisuri, Assistant Commissioner Rupiah Abd Wahid who will assume the position of Johor Bahru Utara district police chief.

The transfer order also saw Johor Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department, Land Operations chief of staff Supt Low Hang Seng be appointed as Kluang district police chief, with the rank of acting Assistant Commissioner.
