SHAH ALAM, Sept 3 — The Selangor administration is now inviting entries for the Belanjawan Selangor 2021 (2021 Selangor Budget) Logo Design Contest, which opens today till September 21.
Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari is calling for aspiring local graphic designers to showcase their talent and skills by coming up with a logo based on a dynamic and contemporary concept, which is in line with the objectives of the upcoming state budget.
The 2021 Selangor Budget will be tabled at the Selangor State Legislative Assembly on October 30 from 3pm to 5pm.
“The contest reflects the state government’s principle in being inclusive and encouraging public participation, especially to have the creative minds of the country to come up with the be visualised logo.
“The submissions will be assessed by a panel of judges that is made up of renown Malaysian branding experts, graphic designers and visual artists,” Amirudin said in a statement today.
The panel of judges includes founder and head of Thinker Studios Adly Syairi Ramly as well as visual artists Zulamran Hilmi and Engku Iman.
Winner of the competition stands a chance to bring home a MacBook Pro 13” laptop, while the second runner up will win an iPad Pro. The reward for the third place is an iPad Gen 7.
