AMPANG, Sept 20: The Selangor Information Technology and E-Commerce Council (Sitec) has nurtured more than 90 professional service providers for the digital economy platform since the last two years.

State Investment, Industry and Trade, Small and Medium Industries Committee chairman Dato’ Teng Chang Khim said these providers have undergone training and guidance for four months under the Selangor Accelerator Programme.

“These professional (digital) service providers work to promote and advertise products of entrepreneurs on e-commerce platforms such as Lazada, Shopee, BungkusIT and Youbeli.

“If entrepreneurs are unsure about how to make good advertisements even though they are selling great products, these professionals are ready to assist,” Teng said during a speech at the Selangor Digital Entrepreneur Roadshow 2020 here yesterday.

The third series of the state’s roadshow gathered 200 entrepreneurs from around the Ampang area which allowed them to pick up some digital business know-hows from Shopee, Lazada, Boost e-dompet, Avana, Ninja Van, BungkusIT, Youbeli and state government agency Hijrah Selangor, among others.
