KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 9 — The Malaysian Marine Department headquarters and its Central Region Office in Port Klang, which are currently placed under the conditional movement control order (CMCO) will operate in accordance with the new normal and enhanced standard operating procedures.
In a statement today, it said customers are encouraged to deal with the department via phone calls, email, voice/video conference, and use its online services for matters relating to shipping, marine and ports at www.marine.gov.my
It said the Maritime Transport Training Institute (Matrain) in Pulau Indah, however, will operate as usual as it is located outside the Klang CMCO area.
