SUBANG JAYA, Nov 9 — The Subang Jaya virtual career fair aims to see the participation of 100 employers during the three-day event, which will begin from November 19.
Subang Jaya assemblyman Michelle Ng said this would help solve some of the unemployment issues that occurred due to the impact from the Covid-19 outbreak.
Ng said the programme, in collaboration with the Subang Jaya City Council and several companies, said the job fair is open to all and is not only limited for those from the constituency.
“This is part of the efforts to address unemployment issues. Apart from helping job seekers, employers would also benefit from the Social Security Organisation (Socso), which includes the six-month salary subsidy and an RM30 training allowance for each employee,” she told reporters when met on Saturday.
Ng said the job fair, which will be held until November 21, will also offer training programmes for those venturing into a new field.
“Some of the companies include a subsidiary of Sunway Group, City-Link dan Costa Coffee,” she said.
Employers can register at https://rb.gy/allfhz while job seekers via https://rb.gy/j9otkm.
Registration is open now until November 15.
