STFC introduces joint cooperation to prevent Covid-19 spread

SHAH ALAM, Dec 12 — The Selangor Task Force for Covid-19 (STFC) has introduced a new innovative joint cooperation between three parties in efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 at the workplace.

Its chairman Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad said the Preventing Outbreak on Ignition Sites (Poise) voluntary programme includes the cooperation between the state government, employers and NGO.

“STFC would plan out several steps including diversifying the standard operating procedure (SOP) as well as speeding up the initial screening procedure.

“The SELangkah system will also be improved to include intermediate system integration for contact tracing, quick screening, diagnosis, reporting and integrated monitoring,” he said in a statement last night.

The former Health Minister added that the programme would enable the state administration and Selangor State Health Department in helping NGO trace the pandemic in hot spot areas.
