Ten film companies receive over RM269,000 under Finas’ ITFC

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 18 — The National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (Finas) has paid out fiction film screening incentives (ITFC) totalling RM269,265.82 to 10 companies that produced 11 fiction films under the Compulsory Screening Scheme for the third phase of this year.

Finas, in a statement yesterday, said that among the recipients are Nizra Production for the film ‘Bulan dan Pria Terhebat’, A.Aida Production (Ratu Kala Jengking), Kuman Pictures (Roh) and Lomo Pictures (Walk With Me).

Another five film companies are Star III E Media and Advertisement (‘The God and Wealth’ and ‘Lucky Blockchain’), Jazzy Pictures (Takut Ke Tak), Cao Min Entertainment (Lease of Life), Pencil Pictures and Records (Ada Apa Dengan Dosa), More Entertainment (In My Heart) and Mermaid Studios (Bella & Jamie).

According to the statement, the incentives were handed out in a virtual ceremony yesterday (December 16) by Finas chairman Zakaria Abdul Hamid.

ITFC is an initiative of the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia (KKMM) through Finas to help and encourage film producers to produce local fiction films as well as to boost development of the film industry.
