SHAH ALAM, Feb 24 — There are no active Covid-19 cases that are currently under treatment involving Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) staff.

MBSJ mayor Noraini Roslan said a total of 21 positive cases were recorded among its employees.

“The first case was reported on October 27 last year while the last case was on February 9,” she said when chairing the MBSJ full board meeting held virtually today.

Noraini reminded all of its staff and the community under its administration to always abide by the standard operating procedure (SOP) set to avoid being infected by the coronavirus.

Previously, MBSJ had conducted a free Covid-19 screening operation of its 98 frontline workers consisting of enforcement personnel and from the Special Action Squad (Pantas).

The initiative in collaboration with I-Medik, Yayasan Ikhlas and Pertubuhan Bangun Bersama was done in appreciation of their commitment to carrying out their duties while being at risk of contracting the coronavirus during the movement control order period.
