SHAH ALAM, Feb 18 — Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin has donated daily necessities for the asnaf (eligible zakat recipients) group in Selangor.
The Selangor Royal Office in a statement informed that Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin also had also presented contributions for the less fortunate in several areas in the state.
“The contribution was handed over to the secretary of the Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) Angkasapuri Sports and Recreational Club Salawati Abd Rashid.
“The donation will be distributed through the club’s welfare assistance programme,” said the statement posted on the Selangor Royal Office Facebook page yesterday.
A brief ceremony to present the contribution was held at the Istana Bukit Kayangan in Shah Alam.
