SHAH ALAM, March 17 — The Selangor Digital e-Supply Chain (Seldec) is offering 500 vacancies as delivery riders and drivers to deliver food items and goods.
Its business development general manager Mohd Fauzan Elham said those interested in the job opportunities could register via: dapur.seldec.com.my/join/rider.
“Delivery service providers under Seldec will be offered social protection benefits under the Social Security Organisation (Socso) as well as incentives for accident protection.
“The jobs offered are among the efforts to generate income because delivery services will build up during the Ramadan and Hari Raya seasons,” Mohd Fauzan told SelangorKini today.
He said Seldec is also collaborating with the Subang Jaya City Council and Kuala Selangor District Council to promote the products of 1,500 bazaar and home-based traders throughout Ramadan.
Seldec, which was launched on October 3, 2019, was aimed at assisting business owners to raise their income through the digital market.
Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari had previously said that Seldec is also a platform that is used to promote agro-products, products made by micro-entrepreneurs as well as fresh food items.
Seldec is helmed by Selangor Industrial Corporation (SIC) Sdn Bhd, which connects sellers and buyers directly through the portal www.seldec.com.my.
