SHAH ALAM, March 9 — The Selangor government is planning to organise the Jelajah Selangor cycling event, following the relaxed restrictions for sports activities.
State executive councillor for youth and sports development Mohd Khairuddin Othman said the event, which is still in discussion, is expected to be held in early May.
“Aside from that, we will organise several other sports activities, such as futsal and marathon,” said Mohd Khairuddin when contacted by SelangorKini.
Meanwhile, commenting on the state athletes, Khairuddin said the training session in preparation for the Malaysia Games (Sukma) will begin soon.
“Discussion is being held with the Selangor Sports Council to ensure that the training session would comply with the set guidelines,” he said.
