SHAH ALAM, March 9 — The Selangor government will be organising the Ekspo Hasil Suri Selangor (Selangor Housewives’ Crafts and Products Expo, or HaSSel) Hybrid 2021 beginning April 24 to 28.

State executive councillor for women empowerment and family Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud said the expo this year will be held virtually and physically where visitors are free to attend it at their own convenience and can replay the programmes online.

“Visitors are also in for a new experience when they follow the expo online with the 3D design that makes them feel as though they are in the actual hall,” said Dr Siti Mariah to the media after the pre-launching ceremony of HaSSel, which was officiated by Selangor Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari at the Selangor State Secretariat Building, yesterday.

Commenting further, Dr Siti Mariah said HaSSel is a platform for the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) led by female entrepreneurs to introduce their products to be commercialised.

She said the event is the state government’s initiative to empower the women community in Selangor especially those who are facing socio-economic challenges.
