SHAH ALAM, May 8 — PKNS Real Estate Sdn Bhd (PREC) has tightened the standard operating procedures (SOPs) at three Selangor Ramadan Festival (Festira) locations in Shah Alam and Bangi, following the reimposition of the movement control order (MCO).

PREC acting centre manager Syahril Mohd Rashid said all entrances to PKNS Complex and SACC Mall in Shah Alam, and PKNS Complex in Bangi are now tightly controlled to avoid congestion aside from the implementation of visitors rotation system.

“The number of visitors is now limited to 400 individuals at a time, also children under 12 are not allowed to enter the Festira.

“The location of traders (stalls) has been restructured to facilitate the smooth flow of a one-way route system,” he told SelangorKini yesterday.

According to him, Festira’s closing hour was also shortened to 10pm, compared to 12pm previously.

“The number of enforcement officers has also been increased to ensure SOP compliances can be monitored at all times, thus curbing the spread of Covid-19,” he said.

Festira’s physical sale takes place until May 12 at the PKNS Complex in Shah Alam and Bangi, as well as at the SACC Mall in Shah Alam, while online sales are available at BazaarLokal.com.

Last year, Festira, which offers 1,100 lots of stalls, had to be cancelled due to the pandemic.
