Free Covid-19 screening in Bukit Melawati, Ijok today

SHAH ALAM, June 6 — The free Covid-19 community screening organised by the Selangor government continues at the Ijok and Bukit Melawati constituencies today.

The programme runs simultaneously at Kuala Selangor District Council (MDKS) Hall in Bandar Baru Kuala Selangor, Kuala Selangor and Bukit Badong Hall, in Ijok from 9am to 4pm.

Registration can be done through three methods, via the SELangkah mobile application, through the website screening.selangkah.my or register directly at the location.

Registration for the Covid-19 vaccine is also offered during the programme.

From May 8 to June 10, the state government is conducting a monitoring programme to trace active Covid-19 cases through free screening in all 56 state constituencies.

The program under the Covid-19 Pandemic Mitigation Phase benefits people who are at risk, have been in close contact, have symptoms and are worried about their health status, so far it has been carried out in 46 state constituencies.

Selangor government targets 100,000 individuals to be screened by June 10. As of Friday, a total of 89,716 participants were tested with 3,203 suspected positive Covid-19.
