MBSA denies use of its halls as walk-in vaccination centres for public

By Zareef Muzammil

SHAH ALAM, June 4 — No walk-in Covid-19 vaccination service for the public is provided at the Tanjung and Teratai halls in Section 19 here, says Shah Alam City Council (MBSA).

MBSA issued a denial after a viral message this morning claimed that the two halls are open every Wednesday and Thursday as walk-in vaccination centres for the public.

Its Corporate and Public Relations Division said the information disseminated through WhatsApp was inaccurate.

“MBSA received an application from the Selangor State Health Department to use the halls as a location for vaccination to frontliners in the state,” it clarified.

MBSA advised the public to get confirmation and check the facts before disseminating any information.
