Selcare: Number of participants of free testings expected to rise this weekend

SHAH ALAM, June 21 — The number of participants taking part in Phase 3 of Selangor’s free community screening is expected to increase in the coming weekend, says Selcare Clinic.

Its manager Mohd Noor Md Nasir said this is due to the promotional activities carried out by the community service centres in Kajang, Hulu Kelang and Bukit Antarabangsa.

“We foresee that the response will be overwhelming due to the active promotions of the programme by the community service centres,” he said.

On Saturday and Sunday, the mass testing operation was held for the constituents in Seri Setia, Taman Medan, Sungai Tua, Gombak Setia and Taman Templer.

A total of 2,702 samples of antigen rapid test kit (RTK-Ag) were taken throughout the two-day programme.

The initiative will proceed in Kajang this coming Saturday (June 26) followed by Bukit Antarabangsa the following day. The screening operation will be carried out from 9am to 6pm.

Participants may sign up via the SELangkah mobile app or the website via http://screening.selangkah.my/login.

The Selangor administration had in its Kita Selangor 2.0 stimulus package allocated RM10.7 million for the third phase of the free mass testing initiative focusing on hotspots and industrial areas.
