Close to 4.5 mln Covid-19 vaccine doses administered in Selangor

SHAH ALAM, July 28 — A total of 4.43 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered throughout Selangor under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) as of August 1, says Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.

The Menteri Besar via an infographic shared on Twitter today stated that 26 per cent or 1.23 million of the Selangor population have completed two doses of the vaccine shots, while 67.5 per cent or 3.20 million individuals in the state have received their first jab.

Amirudin said an additional 193,649 doses were delivered via the Selangor Vaccination Programme (Selvax).

Earlier today, the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) stated in an infographic that as of July 31, the recorded daily vaccination rate in Selangor is at 152,000 out of the total 519,111 doses of vaccines administered nationwide.
