AYER MOLEK, Nov 14 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari continues his visit to Melaka for two days to help Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidates in gearing up for the upcoming state election.

Amirudin, who is also the Selangor PKR chairman, began his visit by meeting with Ayer Molek candidate Rafee Ibrahim at Warung Reformasi, earlier today.

He then met with fishermen at Pengkalan Nelayan Sungai Kertah in Tanjung Bidara before performing Zohor prayer at Masjid Al Jawahir and attended a hi-tea programme at Lendu, at 3.30pm.

At night, he is slated to join a dinner event at a chapati stall in Pulau Gadong, Kelebang at 7.30pm and will proceed to visit buskers at Windmill Dutch Square in Kota Laksamana, at 9pm.

The Melaka state polls will be held on November 20, and early voting is scheduled for November 16.

The election was called following the dissolution of the Melaka State Legislative Assembly on October 4 after four state assemblymen withdrew their support for the chief minister.

Melaka consists of 28 constituencies with over 495,195 registered voters.
