Five more state constituencies to get Selvax booster doses, starting this Friday

SHAH ALAM, Dec 15 — The Selangor Vaccination Programme (Selvax) Booster will be held at five constituencies, beginning on Friday (December 17) until the end of this month.

The programme will kickstart in Balakong,, followed by Bandar Utama (December 18 and 19), Rawang (December 20), Taman Templer (December 26), and Seri Kembangan (December 30).

Rawang assemblyman Chua Wei Kiat said a total of 1,000 doses have been allocated to the constituency at Dewan Serbaguna MPS Batu 17. Registration can be done athttps://shorturl.at/mqLNS.

“The programme is open to Malaysian citizens aged 18 and above, and who have completed two doses of Sinovac vaccine. Eligible applicants will be notified after Selcare has conducted a thorough review,” he said.

Similarly, Taman Templer assemblyman Mohd Sany Hamzan has urged his constituents to register at the community service centre to get the booster jab.

“Approximately around 500 to 1,000 doses of vaccines will be provided,” he said, adding the programme will take place at Dewan Selayang Mulia in Gombak.

As for Seri Kembangan assemblyman Ean Yong Hian Wah, he said the registration for the Selvax Booster, which will be held at Kompleks 3K MBSJ Serdang Raya, can be done via https://bit.ly/sk-booster-vaksin.

The quotas for the Selvax Booster programme for the Balakong and Bandar Utama constituencies have been fully filled within a few days. 

On December 7, the state government announced a total of 157,000 booster doses will be given for free under the Selvax Booster programme.
