Four mega vaccination centres for booster shots to operate in Klang Valley from Jan 15

SHAH ALAM, Jan 14 — The Health Ministry will be operating four mega vaccination centres (PPV) in the Klang Valley beginning tomorrow.

The PPVs, which offers the Covid-19 booster dose, are located at the World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil, Ideal Convention Centre in Shah Alam, and Soka Gakkai in Klang.

According to an infographic shared on the Covid-19 Vaccin Supply Acccess Guarantee Special Committee (JKJAV) on Twitter yesterday, three of the centres will be open to the public from 8am to 9pm, whereas the Soka Gakkai PPV will run until 5pm.

“Four mega vaccination centres (PPV) with greater capacity will begin operations in the Klang Valley starting on 15 January 2022 (Saturday).

“Please follow the SOPs when you are at the PPV and if you receive an appointment, please come for your booster dose,” the Twitter post read.

On January 6, Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said that the mega PPVs will be offering booster shots to increase the take-up rate for the third dose, especially among the elderly group.
