SHAH ALAM, March 30 — Some 121 personnel of the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) received the Excellent Service Awards 2021 yesterday for their efforts and hard work.
Taking place at the MBSA Convention Centre, the recipients each received RM1,000 in cash, a Premium Savings Certificate (SSPN) worth RM400, and a certificate of appreciation.
MBSA also presented a Special Service Award to 24 individuals, who each received RM400 in cash and a certificate of appreciation.
Two MBSA personnel received the Mayor’s Special Award, including Acting Director of the Engineering Department Datuk Hanif Basree Abdul Rahman and Assistant Administrative Officer of the Valuation and Property Management Department Wan Suraya Sahabaludin.
Each received RM4,000 in cash and a certificate of appreciation.
Also receiving the same award for the Excellent Department category is the Department of Solid Waste Management and Public Cleansing, which won RM5,000 in cash.
The awards ceremony was officiated by Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, with state secretary Datuk Haris Kassim and Shah Alam Mayor Datuk Zamani Ahmad Mansor.
The ceremony’s attendees were entertained by performances from artistes such as Datuk Ramli Sarip, Haiza and Wany Hasrita.
