Maybank debit card, app system temporarily offline

SHAH ALAM, April 25 — Maybank’s banking system is currently down due to a technical problem which is affecting its online banking and payment system.

In a Facebook post today morning, the bank said its FPX (Financial Process Exchange) payment platform, debit card usage and MAE application services are temporarily unavailable.

“We are currently experiencing intermittent slowness on the M2U MY app and Maybank2u web.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and are working to resolve the matter as soon as possible,” said the bank in the post that was updated at 1.25pm.

Maybank also thanked its customers for their patience and understanding.
