MB visits family of late Selangor youth footballer, offers comfort

GOMBAK, May 31 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari has visited the family of President’s Cup player for Selangor FC Muhammad Husni Idrus earlier today, following his untimely passing last week.

He was greeted by Muhammad Husni’s parents, Idrus Firdaus and Apridah Mohd Aru sman.

In addition to expressing concern for their wellbeing, Amirudin also presented a monetary contribution to lighten their family’s burden.

The 21-year old was found collapsed near the toilet of a food court at Sunway X Park in Petaling Jaya at 9.58pm on May 25.

Muhammad Husni had earlier participated in a match against Johor Darul Ta’zim III at the Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor field in Kelana Jaya, which was lost 3-0.

Petaling Jaya deputy police chief Supt Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood later confirmed that the late player had a history of asthma.
