SHAH ALAM, July 14 — The Selangor Housing and Property Board (LPHS) has been monitoring the Rumah Selangorku development projects to ensure that the construction process could be completed on schedule.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the agency also periodically reviews the pricing set for affordable housing developments to ensure that it satisfies all necessary requirements.

“A home is a basic necessity. Having a comfortable and affordable house is the primary objective in developing the Rumah Selangorku Idaman and Rumah Selangorku Harapan.

“The quality of construction works and services provided within the developments is aligned with the current lifestyle needs,” he said on Facebook, last night.

Amirudin said that as of now, a total of 130,545 affordable houses have been approved through 76 projects to allow the people in Selangor to own homes.

“They could also partially rent the house before buying it through the Rent-to-Own Smart Scheme (2Stay),” he added.

A total of 24,428 Rumah Selangorku houses have been completed and handed over to the buyers from 2018 until November 15, 2021.

Type C houses have the most completed units, with 9,294, followed by Type D (7,822), Type B (4,122), Type A (2,019), and Type E (1,171).
