MBI donates BSN savings certificate worth RM100,000 to 100 students

GOMBAK, July 31 — The Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) or MBI donated RM100,000 in the form of Bank Simpanan Nasional Premium Savings Certificate (BSN SSP) to be distributed to 100 students from the asnaf (underprivileged) group today.

MBI chief executive officer Norita Mohd Sidek handed over the donation to BSN Kuala Lumpur director Mohd Hafis Hashim in a ceremony witnessed by Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari today.

The donation was given in conjunction with the Selangor Penyayang roadshow at the Padang Awam Batu Caves here.

Earlier, Amirudin had distributed SSP worth RM1,000 to five asnaf students. 

The recipients include students from the Selangor Technical Development Centre (STDC), University Selangor (Unisel) and the Selangor International Islamic University College (Kuis).
