Selangor contributes nearly RM2 mln to repair schools’ facilities in Gombak

GOMBAK, July 31 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari donated RM1.83 million under the 2022 Selangor School Aid programme to 10 schools in Gombak today.

The assistance for infrastructure repair works was handed over to the school’s administration representative in conjunction with the Selangor Penyayang roadshow at Padang Awam Batu Caves.

The schools that received the aid are Sekolah Kelas al-Quran dan Fardhu Ain (Kafa) Integrasi Al-Ehsan, Maahad Tahfiz Huzaifiyyah, Sekolah Rendah Integrasi Teras Islam (SRITI) Al-Mustaqim, Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Selayang Baru (2) and SK (2) Gombak. 

Other recipients are Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sungai Pusu, Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina (SJKC) San Yuk and SJKC Kheow Bin as well as SJK Tamil (SJKT) Batu Caves and SJKT Taman Melawati.

Amirudin, who is also the Sungai Tua state assemblman also handed over RM5,000 to SJKT Batu Caves as a reward for their achievement in winning four gold medals during the 33rd International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition (ITEX) in May.
