SHAH ALAM, Aug 10 — Water supply in six Hulu Selangor areas affected by the Sungai Rasa water treatment plant upgrading and maintenance works have been fully restored at 10am today.
Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) stated that the areas involved are Perkampungan Darul Atiq, Kampung Melayu Rasa Tambahan, Desa Rening Jaya, Industri Ulu Yam Perabot, Taman Widuri and Taman Kesumba.
“The water restoration period varies from one area to another, depending on location and distance to the consumer’s premise.
“The water supply is expected to fully recover in the 188 areas in the Hulu Selangor at 8am tomorrow,” said Air Selangor on Twitter.
Air Selangor will continue to mobilise alternative water supply via water tankers to affected areas with priority given to critical facilities such as hospitals, clinics, dialysis centres and funerals.
