SHAH ALAM, Aug 16 — The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) is offering the public a chance to win a total prize of RM2,100 through the fly Jalur Gemilang campaign.
In conjunction with the Merdeka Day month, the local council said that the competition had kicked off on August 1 and ends on September 16.
“Share a photo or video of the Jalur Gemilang being put up on buildings, offices, houses or business premises in Shah Alam and you stand a chance to win the cash prize.
“For any inquiries, contact MBSA Public Relation and Corporate Department at 03-55105133 ext. 1430 or 1777,” it said on Facebook.
MBSA said that the first prize winner will take home RM500, RM350 for second prize, and RM250 for the third place.
It said 10 consolation prizes is also offered worth RM100 each and a certificate will also be given to the participants.

- Photos must be in locations that are under MBSA’s jurisdiction
- Winners will be selected based on the best photo or video that displays the spirit of independence
