Foreign entrepreneurs including from Spain among Family Business Summit participants

PETALING JAYA, Oct 18 — Over 200 participants including entrepreneurs from Indonesia, the Philippines and Spain, attended the second Asia-Pacific Family Business Summit 2022 organised by BinaPavo at Hilton Hotel here, today.

President of BinaPavo Mohar Yusof said the symposium, which was conducted in a hybrid format, has been well-received from entrepreneurs across various sectors.

“There are businesses from the fields of communication and information technology, solar energy, real estate, engineering, marketing and security.

“The presence of these companies is beneficial for everyone, so they can forge a wider business network,” he said after the opening ceremony.

The summit was officiated by Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, with Yayasan Selangor chief executive officer Eddie Ahmad Khodzali in attendance.

Dr Mohar added the summit offers, among other things, a comprehensive perspective for participants on sustainable development.

“Sustainability for businesses is not just related to finance, the environment, and social care. In a business sense, continuity across generations is important too,” he said.

BinaPavo is a business consulting firm for entrepreneurs.

The first summit took place virtually in August last year, with approximately 200 participants.

This year’s summit is themed ‘Sustainability: The Heart and Bedrock of Family Business Continuity in the Turbulent Global Environment’.
