Selangor clinches third place at Suksem, Sarawak hits top

SHAH ALAM, Oct 31 — The Selangor contingent won third place at the eighth SeMalaysia State Secretary Games (Suksem) held from October 25 until 30.

With an overall score of 22 points, Selangor brought home one gold in the e-sports category through the PUBG and Mobile Legends competition and two silver medals in netball and bowling squads.

Sarawak came first with a total of 51 points after winning three gold, two silver and three bronze medals, followed by Sabah with 30 points with three gold medals.

After a two-year delay brought on by the Covid-19 epidemic, this year’s Suksem was held in Selangor for the first time.

The event featured 10 sporting events, including football, badminton, sepak takraw, netball and volleyball.
