GE15: ‘Dark clouds of Sheraton Move will soon blow away’ — Hannah

By Sulyn Chong

SHAH ALAM, Nov 19 — The Pakatan Harapan (Harapan) parliamentary candidate for the Segambut parliamentary seat in the ongoing 15th general election (GE15), Hannah Yeoh, has expressed her gratitude and appreciation to voters and supporters who braved the wet weather to attend a ceramah event last night.

The rain began to pour heavily before the event and continued on throughout, which did not deter the people from staying on to listen to what the Harapan candidates and members had to say while sheltering under umbrellas.

“(I am) So inspired by these Malaysians sitting in the rain at 8pm waiting for our ceramah to start at 8.30pm.

“No free food, no lucky draw and no bus to ferry them. This is the fighting spirit within Malaysians to rise against all odds, come what may. You can count on them to do their part,” she said on Twitter earlier today.

Yesterday saw Yeoh speak at a ceramah held at the field in front of SK Taman Bukit Maluri.

She was joined by several other Harapan members, including Lim Lip Eng, Tan Kok Wai, Yeo Bee Yin, Syed Yasin, Ong Kian Ming and Athari Bahardin.

The Segambut incumbent MP added she was truly humbled by the show of public support, and believes change is imminent.

“I am humbled by their support. The dark clouds of the Sheraton Move will soon blow away. After the rain, the sun (will) come. Hang in there, we (shall) do it one more time this November 19! #Segambut” Yeoh said.
